Remembering Marco is an initiative that collects donations to be distributed yearly to charities in Italy and in US.
For the year 2017 we are very proud to announce that Remembering Marco will continue to support the Internship Program at renowned Fashion Company Valentino USA. A student will soon be selected among the most promising, brilliant minds of the Universita’ Politecnica delle Marche, the very same university where Marco studied for his Bachelor and Master Degrees. The lucky student will be spending a 6-month internship program at Valentino in New York City starting from spring 2017. This is a one of a lifetime opportunity for the chosen student who will have the chance to live a very similar experience to the one that Marco had back in 2004 when he came to the United States.
For the year 2016 Remembering Marco partnered with Universita’ Politecnica delle Marche. Maria Vittoria Botti, the selected student, has been interning at Valentino since April 2016. The initial 6-month internship was extended to 1 year and Maria Vittoria is thrilled with everything she has learned here. Her experience has been a very positive one and we are sure the she will do great in her future.
For the year 2015 Remembering Marco partnered with The Young Executives Committee (YEX) of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce in New York City. All the proceedings collected by YEX’s will be donated to Weill Cornell Medical College -Genitourinary Research Fund, to support Kidney Cancer Research. The total raised was $7,500.
